What is a Generic Drug?

InterceptorĀ® Plus (milbemycin oxime/praziquantel) is the chewable tablet flavored with real chicken that prevents heartworm disease, and treats and controls adult hookworm, roundworm, whipworm and tapeworm infections* in dogs. Interceptor Plus is safe for use in dogs and puppies 6 weeks of age or older and 2 pounds of body weight or greater. *Heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum), roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), whipworm (Trichuris vulpis) and tapeworm (Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Echinococcus granulosus, Dipylidium caninum)

INTERCEPTOR PLUS is not effective against adult D. immitis. Mild, transient hypersensitivity reactions, such as labored breathing, vomiting, hypersalivation, and lethargy, have been noted in some dogs treated with milbemycin oxime carrying a high number of circulating microfilariae
