What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

Advantage Multi for Cat (Known as Advocate)

Advocate for Cats kills fleas, prevents heartworm, hookworm and roundworm, and controls lice and ear mites with monthly application.

Directions

Place the applicator tip through the animals hair to the skin level. On cats, apply to skin on neck at the base of the skull. Spot on applicators are portioned based on the pet's weight: For small cats & kittens up to 9lb use 1 tube from dark orange pack; For cats over 9lb use 1 tube from purple pack. Safe to use on kittens from 9 weeks of age. Available in 3 and 6 packs.

Cautions

Do not get this product in the pet's eyes or mouth. Use with caution in sick, debilitated or underweight animals. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call poison control center if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.
