This product contains 2 medications, erythromycin and tretinoin, which are used to treat certain types of acne. Erythomycin is a macrolide antibiotic that helps to kill bacteria that can cause acne. Tretinoin is form of vitamin A that helps to improve acne by encouraging older skin to be replaced with newer skin. It may take several weeks before maximum benefits from the medication are seen.
