Proglycem, when taken by mouth is used in the treatment of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). It works by preventing release of insulin from the pancreas.
Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes changes in ability to taste, constipation, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and stomach pain.
