Description:
Chemical Name CONJUGATED ESTROGENS(ESS-troe-jenz) and MEDROXYPROGESTERONE (me-DROX-ee-proe-JESS-te-rone) Prempro is used to relieve the signs of menopause (such as hot flashes and unusual sweating, chills, faintness or dizziness), treat inflammation of the vagina and of the genital area, and to prevent the loss of bone that begins at the time of menopause. This medicine is an estrogen and progesterone combination used to treat the symptoms of menopause. It may also be used to treat certain menstrual disorders, osteoporosis, or other conditions as determined by your doctor. Alternative medicines to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis) include raloxifene and bisphosphonate drugs such as alendronate

Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes abdominal cramps, back pain, body aches or pain, breast pain or tenderness, diarrhea, dryness or soreness of throat, fever, flushing or redness of skin, general feeling of discomfort or illness, headache, severe throbbing, hoarseness, nausea, pain, passing of gas, shivering, shortness of breath or troubled breathing, sneezing, sore throat, stuffy nose, stomach discomfort following meals, unusual tiredness, and voice changes
