Ear Clear for Ear Ache Relief contains 2 active ingredients - phenazone and benzocaine for relief of pain. Phenazone is an analgesic that works with benzocaine, a local anaesthetic, to provide temporary relief of pain. Clinical studies in children with otitis media confirm that ear drops containing phenazone and benzocaine provide relief of pain within 30 minutes when used in conjuction with oral analgesics such as paracetamol.
