This medicine is an antiviral used to manage human immunodeficiency virus infection (HIV). It is also used to prevent the transmission of HIV to the fetus during pregnancy.
Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication include stomach pain, diarrhea or loose stools, constipation, headache, dizziness and difficulty sleeping.
