Description:
Chemical Name: TERAZOSIN (ter-AY-zoe-sin) Hytrin is used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH), which include difficulty urinating, painful urination, and urinary frequency and urgency. It is also used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure.

Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication includes dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, tiredness, drowsiness, stuffed nose, back pain, upset stomach, decreased sexual ability, blurred vision, swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs and pain, burning or tingling in the hands or feet.
