Chemical Name: ASPIRIN (AS-pir-in) and DIPYRIDAMOLE (dye-peer-ID-a-mole)
Aggrenox is used to lessen the chance of a stroke that may occur when a blood vessel in the brain is blocked by blood clots. It is given only when there is a larger-than-usual chance that these problems may occur.
Cautions:
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medication include stomach or abdomen pain and vomiting.
